a creative workspace for like-minded peeps

In Q3 of 2024, Maebird will reopen as a printmaking workspace, offering demos and workshops using relief, letterpress, intaglio, paper plate lithography, moku-hanga and monotype printmaking methods.

Our workspace goal is a space that’s as non-toxic as possible - that applies to materials and personalities. Maebird studio operates in the most environmentally and socially friendly manner possible to keep our planet, hands and minds healthy. Inks, cleaners and solvents are non-toxic. Many plate materials are scraps and upcycled materials and that we use multiple times. Recycled paper, magazines and junk mail are all used in our processes, and you are welcome in the studio, whoever you proudly are.
